brand identity, digital and signage design 

Unique amongst Shanghai hotel Chinese restaurants, Yong Yi Ting showcases Shanghainese cuisine, reflecting the diverse gastronomy of Shanghai. Inspired by the modern Chinese interior design, I created a brand suite that hints at Chinese lanterns and plays with both the phoenix and dragon, while avoiding the cliché styling sometimes seen in Chinese restaurants. I created a bespoke Chinese font, and carried the brand across the food and drinks menus, as well on digital and signage applications.
